Master Plan

The project features a network of pedestrian bridges and walkways, linking the entire 115 acres of the project. This includes a landmark pedestrian bridge over Katella Avenue, eliminating significant pedestrian traffic at Katella Avenue and Douglass and providing a safe, seamless and walkable connection from ARTIC to Honda Center. An additional major feature will be the Paseo, a welcoming pedestrian walkway created by permanently closing a portion of Douglass Road adjacent to Honda Center. Linking these features of the Master Plan will be an robust transportation strategy to help eliminate vehicle trips within the site.

The Master Plan consists of a full range of live entertainment venues.  Honda Center will continue to be the anchor, with 18,000 person capacity, for top touring events.  In addition, there will be a 6,000-capacity concert venue and several intimate venues and clubs, providing diverse entertainment offerings. Orange County residents will now be able to see their favorite artists in their backyard.

Public Plazas

A distinguishing feature of ocV!BE will be its three unique public plazas, each with its own focus and energy. The urban park plaza to the west, more than three acres in size, will be anchored by a new 6,000-capacity concert venue, a 68,000-square-foot food hall and a landscaped boulevard, the Paseo, featuring retail and dining opportunities. The southern-facing plaza will be a hub of activity focused on sports with elevated walkways providing ample opportunities for dining. The northern plaza will feature a collection of intimate club-style venues.

Wellness Park & Office Campus

A new 325,000-square-foot office tower will attract top employers to Anaheim. When combined with other new and existing office buildings, the office campus will be more than 825,000 square feet and in close proximity to all of the district’s offerings. The existing surface parking lot for Arena Corporate Center will be converted to a publicly accessible park focused on health and wellness, serving office tenants and residents. Parking for the office uses will be provided by an adjacent structure.

Hotel Accommodations

Two new hotels, consisting of 650 total rooms, are part of the ocV!BE Master Plan. The hotels will be strategically located to take advantage of all entertainment offerings and pedestrian pathways and linkages throughout the district. The hotels will align with the energy of the district, providing a unique hospitality choice in the Anaheim market for guests, including tourists and conventioneers.
