ocV!BE SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT MANAGEMENT TEAM ANNOUNCED

ocV!BE Sports & Entertainment is proud to announce additional members of the executive management team for this 115-acre, mixed-use community and live entertainment district surrounding Honda Center in Anaheim.

“This dynamic and experienced team will oversee the planning, financing, construction, and eventual operation of ocV!BE,” stated Tim Ryan, CEO of ocV!BE Sports and Entertainment. “Under the Samueli Family ownership, this executive team is committed to delivering what will become the destination to live, work, and play in Orange County.”

Executive Team Announcements:

Mike Beteag, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer: Beteag will oversee technology needs for ocV!BE, Anaheim Ducks, Honda Center, The Rinks, and San Diego Gulls organizations. He brings almost 30 years of IT expertise, including his most recent role as Chief Technology Officer of H&S Ventures and CEO of Forebrain Technologies Inc.

Gina Galasso, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer: Galasso will be responsible for developing and executing all aspects of the human resources strategy to support the overall business plan and direction of ocV!BE. In Galasso’s previous role as Vice President of Human Resources, she oversaw all HR operations for the Anaheim Ducks, Honda Center, The Rinks, and San Diego Gulls. Galasso previously worked for the Walt Disney Company, Southern California Edison, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Ernst & Young, LLP.

Bill Pedigo, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer: Pedigo will oversee all aspects of corporate partnership integration of ocV!BE. Pedigo and his team will be responsible for go-to-market efforts to identify like-minded partners and bring forth best-in-class activation. Pedigo will also continue to oversee the Anaheim Ducks, ARTIC, Honda Center, Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena, and San Diego Gulls corporate partnerships divisions. Previously, Pedigo had a significant impact during his time with the Anaheim Angels, AEG, Kansas City Chiefs, Nitro Circus, and Competitor Group.

Katie Rodin, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer: Rodin will manage the legal matters of the operations of ocV!BE, including the Entertainment Division consisting of Honda Center and new properties within the district and the Sports Division overseeing the Anaheim Ducks, The Rinks, and San Diego Gulls. Rodin will lead the organization’s operational legal activities, including legal strategies and initiatives, negotiating stakeholder agreements, managing the enterprise-wide deployment of legal services, collaborating with all business units, managing litigation, and ensuring compliance in all aspects of the organizations' operations. Rodin has served the sports and entertainment arm of Samueli owned companies since 2008 and brings with her an extensive background in real estate and financial transactions and corporate matters.

Kevin Starkey, Executive Vice President and Chief Venue Management Officer: Starkey is responsible for the operational considerations of the ocV!BE development as well as all venue-specific departments, including operations, security, food and beverage, event services, marketing, public relations, and ticketing. Starkey will provide critical operational and logistical input during the planning and developing stages of the district. In addition to Honda Center operations, Starkey oversees operations at ARTIC, Arena Corporate Center, The Rinks, Great Park Ice, and Powerline Properties. Starkey’s career in public facilities and arena management spans over 35 years, including 27 years with the Honda Center.

Aaron Teats, Executive Vice President, Sports Division: Teats serves as Executive Vice President of the newly created Sports Division, including the Anaheim Ducks, San Diego Gulls, and The Rinks. Within the Anaheim Ducks organization, he oversees the club's business operations, including all ticket operations, marketing, communications, community relations, broadcasting, entertainment, merchandise, fan development, multi-media, signature events, and business intelligence. Teats is in his 26th year with the Ducks, beginning his career within the broadcasting ranks in 1994.

Joe O’Toole, Senior Vice President, Real Estate and Development: O’Toole leads the land development of the project, including entitlement, design, permitting, budgeting, pre-construction, and construction. With 20 years of experience in development, finance, and investment banking, O’Toole will work with the ocV!BE’s consultant team of architects, engineers and economic advisors. Previously, he served as Public Storage's lead executive on a National Reinvestment Program and previously spent 16 years with the Irvine Company, focusing on capital markets and governmental affairs.

Bryce Waters, Senior Vice President, Real Estate Finance: Waters is responsible for the overall capitalization and financing of ocV!BE. Previously, Waters spent the majority of his 14-year career acquiring, developing, and financing over 20,000 apartments, 2.8 million square feet of office and industrial space, and 750 acres of single-family residential land (total capitalization over $10B). Waters joins ocV!BE after seven years working in the acquisitions and development group at the Irvine Company.

Matthew Hicks, Director, Government Relations: Hicks oversees government relations and policy initiatives, including the creation of strategies and plans to assist with the development of ocV!BE. In addition, Hicks assists with public relations and external messaging, community outreach, and stakeholder engagement. Hicks brings extensive experience in public affairs, including working for the Disneyland Resort and serving as a District Director in the CA State Assembly.

Ian Lopez, Director, Assets Management: Lopez will protect and enhance the value of the entire real estate portfolio by working closely with a wide range of internal and external departments that perform the day-to-day operation and financial optimization of assets. Since 2002, Lopez has participated in over $4.5 billion in real estate transactions. Throughout his career, he has managed the acquisition, development, valuation and asset management of commercial office, retail, multi-family, and industrial property types across the US for value-add, core, and opportunistic strategies.
